Scientific Secret Beyond Positive Thinking and Amar Ma’ruf Nahi Mungkar Command

A scientific amazing fact that’s make me feel struck, when i read a book that’s written by Kazuo Murakami PH. D. He is a genetics specialist from Japan. The book’s title is “The Divine Message of The DNA, Tuhan dalam Gen Kita”, published by PT. Mizan Pustaka in Bandung. This book translated from “The Divine Code of Life: Awaken Your Genes and Discover Hidden Talents” published by Beyond Words Publishing, Inc., New York, 2006.

DNA Structure

In believing a fate or destiny, trust of clan factor or heredity have formed our mind frame that everything cannot be changed. For example, child whose parents have talent in music, he will be given this talent too. But, nowadays this idea is need to be change because based on the research:

• Human gene is not permanent, but it depends on many elements.
• Heredity only influence individual characteristic and ability.
• Although characteristic is heritage genetically, gene is equiped an on/off switch that’s influence gene function.
• On/off mechanisme of gene’s performance is triggered by mental attitude.
• By resilient and persistent effort, useful dorman genes will be activated, otherwise harmful dorman genes will be controlled tightly. For example, doing sport regularly will activate useful genes that’s increase muscle strength and health, and will deactivate harmful genes.
• Bliss, happinest, inspiration, prayer, etc which in the form of positive behavior and attitude will activate useful genes. Otherwise negative behavior and attitude will activate harmful genes.
• Based on the research, environment and other external elements could alter gene’s performance.
• Environment and external element aren’t only a matter, but also consist of psychology stimulus.
• In other words, psychology stimulus, mind, and mental influence our physical health.

Based on gene characteristic above, we know that’s many elements could influence gene’s performance, so if clone will be applied at human, physically it will produce identical body, but it has different personality depends on genetics thinking and environment.
This recent invention of genetics reminding us that:

• Always develop positive thinking,
• Maintaining noble intention, because a good intention will give positive influence for gene, and give us a good starting point to start doing something,
• Looking good environment to develop ourself,
• Always sensitive and full of inspiration to make us ageless and longevity,
• Always develop positive action and positive attitude in all matter, etc.

By studying how to activate positive gene and deactivate negative gene, it will open unlimited possibility to develop human potency. In this case, all what we do are according to Allah’s said in Koran:

“For each (such person) there are (angels) in succession before and behind him, they guard him by command of Allah. Allah doesn’t change a people’s lot unless they change what is in their hearts. But when (once) Allah willeth a people’s punishment, there can be no turning it back, nor will they find, besides Him, any to protect.” [QS. Ar Ra’d (The Thunder): 11].


Correlation of Genetics Performance, Positive Thinking and Amar Ma’ruf Nahi Mungkar

The wisdom of the invention, we know that’s everything that have the character of positively and also negatively, such as intention, mind, prejudice, environment, attitude, etc, all of them is very having an effect on genetics working. All of positive action and attitude we do it, otherwise all of negative action and attitude, we avoid it. In Islam, this is core concept of “amar ma’ruf nahi mungkar”.
Allah’s said in Koran:

“Let there out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong; they are the ones to attain felicity.” [QS. Al-E Imran (The Family of ‘Imran): 104].

Besides, also there are in sentence:

“You are the best peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them, among them some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressor." [QS. Al-E Imran (The Family of ‘Imran): 110].

In other sentence:

“O ye who believe, save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) and severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded.” [QS. At Tahrim (Banning): 6].
